The big thing we are learning this year is to write it all down. Lists. Job lists, picking lists, trip logs, instructions, you name it. Things as mundane as “Check the fuel gauge on every trip.” The goal is to someday have a complete manual of everything that we do. Probably a pipe dream, considering the complex nature of farming, but we need to try. One of the first things we are working on is a guide to harvest, and we thought it might be interesting to share some of what we are putting together.
