flowers coverI get lots of questions about how to price flowers, and I think there are lots of ways to come up with what works best for your farm. Every market is different based on location and competition in your area, so I will share some of the methods we use to come up with our pricing, outlining all our different sales outlets.

We started by figuring out what flowers are being sold for wholesale to florists and then adapted that for wholesale houses, grocers, retail, and wedding sales. This took us many years to figure out, but with experience came confidence in asking a fair price.
