ScalesScales are useful tools on the market farm, essential for good recordkeeping of harvests and for pricing products. You can get by without one; in fact, for the past four years I haven’t used a scale, not once. I’ve distributed everything by count or bunch, no weighing involved, and on a very small scale this worked well for me. But I’m scaling up this year and looking to buy a scale, or two or three. Based on my past experiences and my recent research, here are the features to consider when shopping for a scale.
